This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be able to use your Scan Tool to its full potential; to understand when and why fault codes are logged and to use them along with live system data to aid the diagnosis of vehicle faults. Areas covered will include: Understanding when and why fault codes are logged, error memory interrogation, live data and freeze frame analysis, exhaust emission monitoring, misfire detection, drive cycles, sensor and actuator testing, fault-finding techniques and how to diagnose faults with no fault codes present.
