AUR20220 - Certificate II in
Automotive Air Conditioning Technology

Nationally Recognised Training logo

Our highly practical two day course covers all aspects of automotive air conditioning and HVAC systems.

It includes basic air conditioning principles through to system retrofitting and advanced diagnostic procedures and caters for current, new and emerging air conditioning technologies within the automotive industry.

Leave the course with the knowledge, practical experience and confidence to tackle the most complex of system faults in your workplace the very next day. Successful completion of the qualification allows you to gain a full refrigerant handling licence from the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) which will allow you to carry out air conditioning work on cars, heavy vehicles, plant and agricultural machinery.

Don't need a full automotive air conditioning qualification but you do need to work with refrigerants in a vehicle dismantling business,  automotive parts recycling company or shire council involved in refuse sites? Why not enrol in the single unit that covers the recovery of vehicle refrigerants only? This unit would allow you to obtain a restricted refrigerant recovery license (RRRL) from the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC)
