Diagnostic scan tools are more than just code readers, they can provide detailed information about vehicle operating conditions when they are used correctly. This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be able to use your diagnostic scan tool to its full potential; to understand when and why fault codes are logged and how to use them alongside live system data to aid the diagnosis of vehicle faults. Bring your own Scan Tool along if you wish. Areas covered include: - Error memory interrogation, - Live data analysis - Exhaust emission monitoring, - Misfire detection, - Sensor and actuator testing, - Diagnosing faults with no fault codes present.
