Automotive engine management systems and the associated sensors and actuators are complex systems that produce unique electrical signals when operating correctly. These signals can tell a trained technician a lot about the system when observed using an oscilloscope and can be the difference between correctly diagnosing a vehicle fault or not! This practical course takes you through routine fault finding using an oscilloscope to test a wide range of common vehicle systems and components. We will build your skills and knowledge to a competent level so that you can implement the skills and techniques learnt the very next day.
Areas covered, include: the main features, setting up to test, component testing, waveform interpretation and analysis and fault identification.
You will receive an attendance certificate listing the areas covered on the course.
